Has anyone ever purchased from ebay...
gift cards? i noticed that people sell for instance best buy cards with $500 them for like $400 or less just take a lookgift cards

I know someone who sold a smaller one. I guess people would rather get money sometimes and it they cant, might as well do it this way. Would be interested to know if anyone bought one as well...

Well, I know that at DH's job, they give gift cards as rewards for doing well. Perhaps people get them for similar circumstances and they'd just rather have the cash. A gift card is kind of pointless if you're not interested in buying anything from that particular store.
ETA: I bought a gift certificate once. It was a $50 gift certificate to a restaurant and I bought it for like $10 and I never received it.

I probably wouldn't, just because I would be afraid that there was something "off" about the card. It would be interesting to know if anyone has bought one without a problem.
