Has anyone ever had to have scratches repainted on their car?

Abou how much did it cost to repair the paint? Did the entire car have to be repainted or just the scratches?

It depends on how deep the scratches are... if it is just on the clear coat or goes down to the paint itself.

ETA: If it's a color that's easily matched and not custom, even if it's a deep scratch, they just remove that portion of the body (like the fender or door or whatever) and repaint that, not the whole car.

Hopefully it won't be much then. The scratches weren't deep & the color is silver.

You might take the car to someplace that does detailing to see if they can get the scratches out first.

I have a few scratches on my bumper that I got taking the stroller in and out of the trunk. My car is also silver. I am going to get touch up paint and do it myself or a friend works at pep boys and they sell the paint there so I was going to go there to get the paint and see if my friend will do it for me or I will do it myself.

i had (and still have) scratches on my car. i went to my dealership and bought a bottle of my color paint for about $10. i keep it in the glove box and use it whenever needed
