Has anyone ever commuted to Jersey City on the PATH train from the WTC ?
I have an 8:15am meeting in Jersey City Thursday morning. I know I can catch the PATH train at the WTC- my question is... How long does it take to get to the 1st stop (Exchange Pl) and where can I buy tickets??

I used to commute from WFC to Exchange place every day for a client. The PATH runs like a subway and it only takes a few mins once you are on the train. You can buy tix at the Path station.

You can buy a 2 trip PATH card at the station or use a metrocard (just not an unlimited one) or cash (there aren't many cash turnstiles though at WTC).
The station is on the corner of Church and Vesey, the northeast corner of Ground Zero.
Both trains, Hoboken and Newark, stop at Exchange Place, it's a 5 minute ride max.

I take the path everyday... Not to WTC, but I have... I would allow 40 mins for the total trip-- from getting to the station and waiting for the train, then waiting for the train to depart.
You can pay using a regular metro card-- but, a debit one, not an unlimited one. Or, you can just put cash in the turnstyle. I would just use a metrocard since you can also use it on the subway, etc.

I meant the actual Hoboken train, not the station. You can't take the Hoboken train from WTC and go to Exchange Place.

You can take the Hoboken or Newark PATH train from WTC and they stop at Exchange Place. When they refer to them, they just refer to them as the Hoboken Train or the Newark Train.

It's only about 5 minutes and the PATH comes about every 5-10 minutes. I think haf an hour is more than enough time. You can use a regular metrocard to pay for it.
