hardwood floor refinishing recs with a question
Thinking about refinishing the hardwood floor in our livingroom. Our DR was done 2 years ago and it is open to our living room (LR is carpeted). Do you think the whole 2 rooms would need to redone or could the refinish just the LR to match the floor in the DR?
Looking for someone to do the job as neatly as possible. As well as affordable (which will determine if we actually do it or not) The guy who did the LR did not do a great job of covering things and there was dust everywhere.

There will be dust regardless with the sanding. We just used Gold Star Floors to redo our LR, DR, stairs and upstairs hallway.

We used a different company a few years ago for our bedrooms. Gold Star did a phenomenal job.

Great! Thanks! We were actually recommended to them by a friend as well. They gave us a great quote over the phone so we will most likely use them. I'm glad to hear you both had good experiences. Looks like we were ripped off big time 2 years ago.

I used Gold Star too... they were the cheapest by far, & did a great job.
