Happy Mother's Day..I want you all to know!
I would just like to wish all the mommies a very happy Mother's day!!!
Since this is my first, it truly is bittersweet. Last year at this time, I was pregnant and so scared of what was to come. I couldnt fathom the fact that this year, I would be celebrating Mother's day not only in honor of my own mother, but that I would be one too. Fast forward to this year, and here I am with a beautiful 8 month old daughter and although I have been a mommy for such a short time, it is everything that people told me it would be and more.
I come on here and share experiences with all of you wonderful Mothers..I get amazing advice and I can honestly say, have learned so much from all of you that I simply do not know what I would do without you. Its such a special feeling to know that you are not going through this journey alone and that whether we are crying tears of joy because our children are accomplishing so much or venting because they won't eat or sleep, we always have each other.
So to all of you who are on this journey with me..to all of you who are shaping and molding the lives of our precious little boys and girl..to all of you who either stay at home or work..to all of you who are celebrating for either the first time or the 5th time..I just want to say have a happy and blessed mother's day. We as a whole, have such a life fulfilling job..we have taken on these lives and have the responsibility of molding them into self sufficient little people. But all the while, trying to hold onto every moment that we have with them before we are truly able to let go. On this my first mother's day, I will look at my own daughter and know that she wont always be this small, this innocent, but I will definately ALWAYS be her mommy.
Thank you to all of you wonderful mothers for letting me be a part of you and your childrens lives..it means the absolute world to me!!!
