half of my FIRST mothers day ruined....
Thank you girls for making me feel better.. I thought I was just overreacting... and maybe I was.. but knowing others would have been upset, or others have been there... makes me feel better...
Just to let you know, the rest of the day, with my family, and with just DH and DD were wonderful!!! So it wasnt a complete bust!

im so sorry they did that to you.. have you asked DH to talk to them and try to find out whats going on? that is not right of them to treat you that way... i hope the situation gets straightened out and it doesnt happen to you again.

I did today... it was the first time I really got visibly upset.. Im sure they saw and had no idea why though...

I'd be hurt as well... too bad you didn't get a chance to get your hands MIL's camera & find a quick way to erase the pics. None of you- but none of them either!

First off, Happy 1st Mother's Day!!!
I'm so sorry that happened to you. I would be really upset to. Just be strong and know that your DD and DH love you very much and that is all that matters.

Aww I totally know how you feel. This totally sounds like my in-laws...I lost it at my DS' baptism because I was totally being excluded from all the photos and like you said, we are the mothers!!!! Hang in there, sending you lots of hugs!

DH already knows.. do I tell him to "pursue" it.. find out why, and how much it hurts me? OR do I just let it go... thinking now that he is aware it happens, he will see it next time and maybe say something..
I dont want DH's family to start taking sympathy photos.. its not about the photos really.. its just the feeling like I dont even exist..
