Half In/Out Pools

Does anyone know how much it is to install one of those half in and out pools?

How deep can they be?

If you got one, who did you use?

Thanks!

Re: Half In/Out Pools

We are having ours installed in May. We are having a place that 3 Brothers recommended to excavate (sp?) and install. The pool will stick out of the ground about 2 feet I think. My DH is going to build a deck around the pool so it looks completely in the ground.

Re: Half In/Out Pools

If you don't mind me asking, how much was the estimate for the job?

We already have an above ground pool and our deck has a landing that meets up with it, so if we can a half in/out, I'd just lower than landing to match the height of the pool.

Re: Half In/Out Pools

Yes we have a semi inground pool we got ours from Island recreational. It cost us 7k for everything- demolition to open of pool. beware it is such a HUGE mess!!!!!!!!your backyard will look like a meteor hit it! We had someone build a deck around it, we love it, the pool comes about a lil shy of 2 feet- 20 inches, we asked the demo guys to dig deeper! they dont always go that low so ask! also make sure they have room to get that machine in there I forget what its called to dig the dirt up, we had to redo our fence too- the damn thing banged it up AND we had to get new sod in the back but also in the front from them going in and out of the yard. worth it though, but expect a big headache! also make sure your electrical lines are no where near the pool, we had to pay lipa 175 to move the lines! good luck!- your installer will let you know when they come to see where the pool is going.
