I don't know how far east you are but I love Pavlova Salon. There is one in St. James and one in Wading River.

I go to and Love and it was recommend from here Celestial Hair Gallery in Smithtown.
Lauren is awesome and she cuts my hair
Vinny is the best colorist around

Celestial Hair in Smithtwon. If Jack is still there, he is amazing! I had been going to him since I was 18(I'm 37 now!) and stopped shortly after I got married 2 1/2 years ago (I live in NJ and it got too hard to get there every 6 weeks). Also If Vinny is still there, he is awesome with color!
