Hair cut place for kids with special needs
Can anyone recommend a hair cut place that is good with special needs kids?

i used to go to S&H in Bellmore, or the place in Sunrise.. now we use a reg barber or we do it at home

Where in Miller Place? I'd love to do something different with DD's hair, but am afraid to let anybody try to cut her hair, other than just the bangs.

North Country Kids in Miller Place. There is a place in Northport too that just opened. The names is escaping me

DS has some sensory issues, but with OT and as he gets older he's getting better. I used to take him to a salon and he would freek out. I felt bad, but his hair grows fast.
I took him to a kiddie place in the mall where they sit in a car, motorcycle, tractor, etc... They have a tv playing Dora or other kid shows and cartoons on the wall. First he wasn't so great, but much better than he was. When he was 2 he had to sit on my lap or I held him. Now at almost 4 he is totally fine. He likes to watch videos of himself so I take a video of him being good while getting a cut and he loves it. Now he asks me to video him getting a haircut.
Now he has a dentist appt soon. That I am afraid to take him bc he is not good with his mouth. Ugh!

It took a long time but we now just go to the barber shop. We always go to the same one and he does my son's hair super quick. Hang in there!

Is S and H the name of a place or does it stand for something?
