Had my first meltdown last night
Setting: Watching TV w/ DH
Me: So and so said I'm not really showing yet
DH: Well, I can kind of see it in your face now
Me:                       My face doesnt' get pregnant!!!!!!   
DH: What's going on? What's happening?  I'm sorry, you are so beautiful. OMG OMG

Don't you just love them? They totally don't know what they are saying. A few weeks ago my dh told me I had "pregnancy nose". He's lucky I didn't punch him!

It was a hysterical laugh cry hybrid.
Seriously, it was like nothing I've ever experienced. He was so nervous. He kept saying "What's happening???? OMG. ARe you ok?" Then he left the room. When he came back he reached from behind the couch to kiss me, as if to say "Is it safe in here yet"
I really felt bad for him.

Awww I feel bad for him too.
It's weird- the prego hormones. they're less all encompassing than regular monthly crazies. Becaus eyou know that you're acting irrationally, right?
Like you can laugh at the fact that you're crazy, while crying. This was me when friggin Victor wouldn't turn off Happy Feet at the sad part.

First of all, for your sweet DH's ignorant comment.
Secondly, at our lack of control over our hormones. I have about 10 minutes of pure unadulterated crazy about once a week. And the worst part is that I see it happening, like an out of body experience, yet I just can't stop myself. At least we can laugh about it! And our husbands won't divorce us b/c of it!

Is it me or I think you can see in it people's faces sometimes when they are pg. Some people's faces change and some don't.
Maybe your change slightly.
I have no idea but perhaps that is what he means.
