Had a rough Thursday night and Friday day.

After dinner on Thursday night, I started have pain in my lower left ab area.

I thought it was something I ate, but it didn't let up.

I took a shower tried, to go to bed and it kept getting worse, but it was only on my left side and the pain was radiating into my left back area.

Finally at around 1:30 am I called the emergency Dr line and he advised me to go to the ER at Stonybrook.

We came home at 5:30 am and I was diagnosed with a UTI infection.

I have never had one and I didn't have any of the "normal" symptons, like burning sensation when you pee, I wasn't peeing anymore then usual, etc... Just the pain in the left area only.

I am on antibiotics and the pain has finally let up. I was so uncomfortable.

I was SO RELIEVED that the baby was okay and felt so much better when I saw him/her moving around on the sonogram screen.

Now I am drinking plenty of cranberry juice, water (which I already drank alot of) and I am going to have a yogurt a day.

Thanks ladies for letting me my share my story, it turned out to be something common, but so scary when you are going through it.

Ugh...that stinks. Glad to hear that's all it was. Feel better!!

glad to hear you are feeling better...uti's are not fun and I did not ever have one while pregnant
