Had a bad dream last night.
I had a dream my FIL passed.
I just cannot get it out of my head and I am terrified to tell DH.
FIL has been out of the hospital over a month now and is doing GREAT.
Why in the world would I have this dream?
Even more depressing and scary is there are already 2 posts on here that people they know have passed away.
What can this dream possibly mean?
I really don't want to tell DH.
I woke up out of a sound sleep and was almost in tears!
I still see me sitting there just holding MIL in my arms.

I always believed this.
It could just be a subconscious fear, not a prediction.

I have a bunch of books on dreams. They all suggest that dreams mean the total opposit of what you think and the person you dream about usually has nothing to do with it. Don't worry

It's probably because you're worried about your Fil and are afraid something might happen to him because he has been in and out of the hospital.... Dont worry your FIL 'WILL' live a long life.
I told you about the dream of my mom and I that we were both in a car accident and in my dream everything went silent because we were going towards a train, but the weird thing is that we were on a road and somehow ended up on train tracks, mom and i in my dream said OMG than everything went silent, i must've died in my dream... that was two months ago my dream or more, i know i posted about it a while ago.
the point of this is that we are both fine and healthy.

I agree with what people are saying about opposites.. I have heard if you dream about someone having a baby..that means someone is about to die.. It sounds freaky..but that is what I have heard.
