Gym fees and kids clubs in gyms

For those of you that belong to gyms and have children. Do you bring them to the gym with you? How much do you pay for your monthly membership and what do you pay to bring your child?

I am thinking of joining a gym where they charge $1 per kid. It doesn't seem like a lot but when you figure 5x a week (i'm being hoping) that is $10 a week and $40 a month. I think my membership would be $35. I don't want to sound cheap but I think it is expensive. Am I crazy?

Are you talking about babysitting while you work out?
When I bring my kids I leave a tip in the jar in the playroom/nursery. I dont pay a membership. They are 7 & 16mths.

I go to LA Fitness and they have a huge kids club playroom with play equipment, and it's $10 a month for up to two hours per day of care.

I used to belong to LAFitness and wish I still did. It is just to far from where I live now. I wish they would open up more of them. I loved it so much! $10 is so reasonable to me and there kids clubs puts many places to shame. Ugh, I wish I could get them to open more. Thanks for sharing.
