Guess we'll need a new hiding spot next year
After our egg hunt, Joseph came up with a great place to store all of the plastic eggs so we didn't have to throw them out.
"Why don't you put them in the closet downstairs in the basement? You know in that little room, there's a closet with some plastic eggs already in there?"
For all of you who thought my son was so smart, he didn't even connect the fact that they are the same plastic eggs...or that the Easter Bunny doesn't exist. He even went through the trouble of demonstrating how the bunny opens the cabinets with his paws to hide the eggs.
Still hoping to get another year out of it. They are still convinced of the leprachaun. My dad asked Maddie if she thought her parents caused the havoc on St. Pat's. She laughed at the idea & said "Mommy & Daddy would NEVER mess up our house!"

Too cute! You do know that once they realize that there is no Easter Bunny... it's just a matter of time before they realize there is no Santa! 
Enjoy their happy innocence as long as you can!!!
