Grand Canyon
Has anyone been there... We were thinking of going when we goto Las vegas - I was wondering what you guys thought??

I went from Vegas on a Day trip. We left at 7 a.m. and got back around 4 p.m.
We flew around the Caynon and then onto the rim, then took a bus tour which made about 4-5 stops around the rim.
It was an amazing place to see, I highly reccommend doing it if you have the time.

Thanks... I really want too - I am thinking we should - Its $300 pp for the day - it includes the air fare, bus tour and box lunch... Maybe we will - We are renting a car but its 5-hrs away so 10 -hrs round trip - thats alot....

Yes I flew ... It takes about an 45 minutes to get there, we flew around to see some sights from the air then we landed and took a bus tour, then got back on the plane and came home.
It's a small plane 9-passenger maybe? and I was the co-pilot  the pilot was a 25-year old hottie from Louisianna. ahhh, the memories.

OMG, I dont know if I could handle that, which is to bad cause it saved you TONS of time and you must of had awesome views...

definitely go. it's amazing! i've been there several times and hiked to the bottom three times now. if you have time to do an overnight i recommend driving there and staying at one of the lodges. if you're going after mid-may i highly recommend going to the north rim. it's about the same driving distance from vegas as the south rim, but much less crowded and makes for a nicer experience.
