graduate school graduation gift
my sister is graduating optometry school... any gift ideas? She has a ton of jewelry... would a gift certificate to a spa or a bed & breakfast be inappropriate?

not inappropriate at all! in fact she'll probably love the break to either get away or get a massage
when I got my mba, a lot of people got me clothing gift certificate which was awesome for me because I had to get a lot business attire- will she need any of that for her new career?

I was having the same problem. My cousin is graduating from medical school next weekend, she's going to be a pediatrician! I was debating giving her a check, but I just ordered her a nice frame and clipboard with her name, then M.D. after...I think it's better than money! A gift certificate is also a nice idea!

I am graduating with my doctorate this weekend, and I told my DH to get me a ring, and my parents are getting the matching necklace. My in-laws are going to be getting me a spa gift certificate, which I cannot wait to use! I'm sure she'd appreciate the chance to finally relax!

I think either of those gifts is a great idea. She's worked so hard it's nice to give her something that she can use to relax.
