This is a totally dumb question, but they come with the base, right?

It comes with ONE base. If you want 2 you have to be one extra.

no you have to buy the base seperate....as far as i've ever seen the car seat is just teh car seat..they get you for every liittle thing!

Not true NoahsArk....
The GRACO does come with a base, if you plan on using two cars, you would need to purchase a separate base. If you plan on using one car, then you are set as it comes with it already.
