GPS Watch - which one to get????

So I know everyone has a Garmin but Nike just came out with a GPS watch with Tom Tom. Since I have been using nike+ with my ipod for the last 2 years and I have all my miles logged on their site I really wanted to get this watch. It cost $199

However, I am skeptical about getting the 1st generation of some thing like this. The reviews are Good/OK but I am still hesitant.

My birthday is Friday and I think my parents wanted to get met this as a gift. But now I am contemplating on getting a garmin instead because it has a good reputation and a long history. So I have been trying to research them and the prices and it looks like they are the cheapest on Amazon.com

BTW - I start training for a half marathon next week.

I have the Garmin 205 and I love it. If you want to go cheaper you can always get that-I got it at walmart for less than $100.

I have the Garmin 305 and yes I love it but honestly it is so bulk. I would go with one of the others. When I get a new one it will def be another garmin:)

I have a Garmin 205 also. It is definitely a little bulky, but it was inexpensive, and it gets the job done! I can't really compare, because I don't know much about the Nike, but I love Garmin.

I have the Garmin 405. I love it, but it took some time getting used to the bezel to navigate the menu pages.

Love my 305! It is bulky, but I'm used to it and actually like the larger screen.

Thanks for the responses ladies....

A co worker of mine let me borrow her 305 last month and I used it for a 5 mile race. The size didn't bother me too much......I think I could get used to it. I also hear that the 405s are still bulky even though they are round.

Any one know where I can see them all in person????
