Good Vacuum
i swear my apt is where vacuums go to die bc they never last! now i want to get a good one and had a dream last night that i bought a dyson. anyone have recommendations?? is the dyson worth the $?

a friend of mine had the dyson and recently got another vacuum (don't know what type she got) - - but she found that the dyson didn't work all that well. I have a dirt devil and I love it (upright w/ detachable canister for stairs).

I have a dyson and I like it... but to be honest I don't know if it works BETTER then any other vaccum.
DH seems to think so... but honestly every vaccum I had seemed good to me
