Good timing considering it's mother's day...but I find...
I prefer my mom's company to even many of my friends these days. I just got the urge to call her and tell her we should try and rent The Family Stone this weekend. I guess the point is, the older I get the more I enjoy hanging out with her. Anyone else feel even closer to mom, in a more adult way?

I totally agree. I guess also because I'm a wife now...we relate. I admire her a lot. My sister is disabled. I can't imagine what being 22 and having a kid with a disability is like. But she was always an awesome mom to us. I guess I just admire her more.

Samehere she is truly my best friend!! Ok now you are making me cry!! I know so many people that aren't close to there moms and that break my heart! Enjoy your ladies with your mom!!

I feel closer than I was, but I am still not extremely close (emotionally) to her. Physically, I always see her, almost every day...but there is only so much of her I can take.

I have always been close with my Mom but ever since I got married I have a new found respect for her. She worked p/t and was always home by the time we got home from school. I admire all that she did so that my sister and I would have a great upbringing. She's my hero

MY mom is my best friend too. She is the first person I turn to when I want to have lunch, go shopping or just talk. I love her even when she does annoying motherly things
