Good shoes for traveling with ALOT of walking?
Since ya'll were so helpful with my t-shirt question...
We are trying not to check luggage when we go to Asia in September. Normally, when we do this I bring a pair of regular sneakers and that's the only pair of shoes I have.
Is there something different I could wear for MILES of walking that will also look cute at night?
So many of the new cutesy sneakers are great but you couldnt wear socks with them. I gotta wear socks with all of this walking.
So...
-Cute, can wear at a bar at night and not look TOO much like a tourist.
-Comfortable for ALOT of walking
-Gotta wear socks
Any ideas?

a friend of mine swears by her Dansko clogs. she says theyre more comfortable than sneakers. theyre a little $ but they look really cute with jeans. im not sure if theyre youre style. if theyre not, let me know, ill look for something else! IM REALLLLY BORED AT WORK TODAY!!!

it may be too hot but tall boots with a flat heel
looks cute with dresses and also over jeans and cute with capris too

i really like nike g-series with cole haan. I have a pair of mary janes for about 3 years and they are like slippers. Depending the style you can wear lil socks or not. Super super comfy.

I just got the cutes pair of shoes from Coach. They're not on their website but I got them at the Smithaven store. They're silver and look like a ballet flat but they have sneaker treads on the bottom. I tried them on with dress, shorts, jeans and they look adorable PLUS they are SO comfy! I plan on wearing them while in Europe this summer. HTH!

Any shoes from Aerosoles. I walked around London, Paris and Bangkok in a few styles of their shoes and they were great.

i would get a pair of geox - sooooo comfortable, but they are a bit expensive. not sure where you are located, but there is a store at roosevelt field mall.
