Good News!!!
Well, not as great as we were hoping, but... My best friend found out about 2 weeks ago she had cancer. (26 and planning her wedding!) We were hoping it was stage 1, but it's not. However...it's stage 2 of hodgkins which is still considered pretty curable. So even though it probably sounds silly we were very happy to hear the news since stage 3 does not have as good a prognosis. So...YEAH!! Cheer for stage 2!!

Thanks! I'm following my BF's lead. She is such the optimist and it's actually helping ME, though I know I should be helping her.

good for her!!! hope you both keep up the positive attitudes!!!
not to hijack, but my dad had hodgkins lymphoma 6 years ago, and to see him today you would never know waht he went through. and when he first found out, a doctor told him " we TREAT lung cancer, but we can CURE lymphoma".... its definitely one of the "better" ones out there. keep us updated!!!

My cousin found out exactly 2 months before her wedding she had cancer. Had a mastectomy and reconstruction all before her wedding. She is currently going thru chemo. She had a body and bone scan and so far no cancer anywhere else.
Your friend can totally do this!
