Going to Puerto Rico in July and need advice?

We are going on a cruise and then we are staying in PR for two days. We are staying at the Ritz Carlton. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to eat, or what to do.
I have been to PR before on a cruise, and I know Old San Juan is a great place to go.

Definitely go to Old San Juan. We went into Old San Juan twice and ate at El Jiberito the night before we were leaving. It's a little place but they had entertainment (guy playing the guitar) and THE BEST food... ham soup, rice & beans, sweet plantains, flan... everything was amazing and the waiters were so nice too. If we would have known about it earlier we would have eaten there more than once! It was recommended by one of the guys at our hotel.

That sounds great!! Did you guys make reservations? We will be in PR for two night (Sunday and Monday). Not sure if the days of the week matter.

Where is this place? Is it a bar or restaurant.
