Going to ask my dr but...what restrictions were u on...
when you were like 5-6 weeks preggo
I work with preschoolers...example like lifting cots, etc
My dr's nurse told me not to lift anything over 20 pounds

No major restrictions. I read that anything over 25 pounds is considered "heavy" lifting. Just take it easy. Also, if you're excersicing, keep your heart rate under 140.

do not lift heavy things was top of the list, limited sex, and that was about it.

My DS is over 30lbs and my OB said it was fine to keep lifting him

DS is 27 Lbs. I am almost 34 weeks pg and I am still lifting him. I think it is more if you are not used to lifting heavy things then you might not want to start now...but I would ask your obgyn for their recommendations.

Due to a hernia I'm not suppose to lift anything over ten pounds but as much as I try to be careful I think that went out the window months ago!

With this pregnancy, I have not had any restrictions... and I didn't even go to the doctor for the first time until I was about 9 weeks.
DS is about 32 pounds and I have to lift him, so sometimes we have no choice!
When I was pregnant with DS, my placenta was low, so I was told no sex, no heavy lifting or straining myself. When I went for the anatomy scan, it had corrected itself and they took off those restrictions.
I think it really depends on your situation.

Bc I had IVF done, the major restriction was no heavy lifting & taking it easy.

i had to quit pilates class b/c i was told no core work. lite excercise was ok..but nothing crazy.
and cut back on the caffeine if you drink a lot of coffee. its ok in moderation, but in the first tri especially, watch how much you intake.
