Glucose Test Tomorrow!
Girls, I am getting nervous for the test...any tips on what to eat or what NOT to eat today??? So far, I had some multigrain Cheerios for Breakfast....but I want to try to stay away from carbs/sugars as much as possible. I dont want to have to take the 3 hour!!

i was going to go on Weds. for mine.. just debating bc my allergies are horrible. My doc told me to fast. you get a better reading.

I was told NOT to fast, and had toast for breakfast and I "failed" by one point, so I'd personally skip breakfast so you don't have to take the 3 hour.
But it really isn't that bad, bring a book.

I was supposed to go this saturday and they were closed. I work all week. I guess you can't go in the afternoon, because you are supposed to fast?
should I just wait until next saturday?

Was this Quest? I was told they didn't do the GD tests on Saturday and only did them til like 1:30 during the week.
I know someone else on the board had luck with going on Saturday morning though.
I had to go into work late, they open at 7am and that is when I went in.

My test is at 8:30am, tomorrow. I wont eat anything before the test tomorrow am....but I was just wondering what I should eat the day before....just to make my levels be more calm--can you tell, I dont want to fail?? Obviously, I am staying away from sweets etc, but any other foods to avoid for the rest of today?????

I fasted after midnight for my 3 hour, but I had a brownie at 11:58pm and I passed, so I wouldn't worry about today.

I fasted after midnight. I had "regular" food the day before. I just avoided stuffing myself with sweet or lots carbs the day before.
