Girls with second / part-time jobs...
Girls with second jobs, what do you do and how often do you work?
I want to get a second job, but I don't want to work in Target for $6.75 per hour (I applied and interviewed and that is what they offered me).
I work in finance, have my MBA and am qualified to sit for the CPA (which I am in the process of doing)... Where could I work evenings and weekends and make a decent salary?
What do you do?

What about the IRS. I think they start hiring part time around this time of year and have night shifts

A friend of mine did this one year. It was not too bad! I think they started her at $13/hr or something, and that was 4 years ago at least.

I have waitressed before as a second job but it is butt breaking work...
I have done cocktail waitressing only which was a little less "hard work" but it was still a lot...
My friend used to hostess which was good...
I have heard that Vet offices are great for P/T work b/c they are open pretty late during weeknights and are open on weekends- maybe you could do a Tues/Thurs/Saturday shift or something- it would be about an extra $115 a week and it's easy work- plus, you are not getting home real late either.

What do you do?
I am about to start studying for the CPA exam - how are you going to do all that and work a second job

OOh, that evil CPA exam  I took my last part in November of 2004, boy am I glad to be done with that test....good luck girls

I work at Bed Bath and Beyond and make a decent amount more than $6.75. I work two nights a week 5:30-10:30 and Saturdays, usually 9-5 or 10-6.

Unfortunately I don't live on LI anymore so I don't know if they do any processing near me... Wasn't it in Holtsville?
Thanks for the recommendation though - I might look into other tax prep places!
