Girls who ovulate late in their cycle please come in!
I have been tracking my ovulation using an OPK and I am ovulating CD 18 of a 27 day cycle. My OB/GYN would like me to cut down on excercise (I'm a big runner) and try to "naturally" increase the time between ovulation and AF. She did mention going on Clomid as well if that doesn't work.
If you were/are in a similar situation what did you do?

I am in a similar situation, I neve ovulate before day 15. My doctor didn't tell me to change anything. We currently are doing unmedicated IUI's (for other reasons). My RE told me if I start to ovulate later and later, then he will put me on clomid.

So she thinks exercise has something to do with the short LP?
I don't exercise heavy every day of the week, but I work out 4-5 times a week and do run and spin, which are both pretty high intensity. I O day 20 of a 29-30 day cycle (so far progesterone levels came back normal, waiting on FSH). Dr. never mentioned exercise, but your post is making me wonder if I should cut down, too?

I ovulate late usually (this month it was day 21), and have a short luteal phase. The doctor has me on progesterone suppositories to lengthen the LP to increase the time between ovulation and AF.
