gift for Bris

Hi - Can anyone recommend a gift to get for bris. Our neighbor had a baby and we were invitied to the Bris. We were both very sick so couldn't make it. We are not super friendly with the couple, but I did give a gift when I first heard she was pregnant and was also invited to her shower. Sorry to babble

So anyway.. my question is do we give $$ or do I get an outfit.
