gift basket idea for a sick mom
my friends mom just found out she has cancer. shes going for surgery on friday and i wanted to send her a nice gift basket.
she likes chocolate and wont be drinking for a while. can someone suggest a good site for baskets that are reasonable.

I would send something more for comfort - one of those neck roll pillow, pajamas, slipper socks that have those tread lines on it, lotion, some magazines, etc. She may be on a restricted diet after surgery. Maybe pajamagram.com, redenvelope.com, proflowers have something.

ok will check out those websites. found edible arrangements to be very espensive for a small arrangement.

Processed sugar is often seen as a something to avoid as it is seen to feed cancer growth.
Delivering dinner or g.c's to favorite takeout/delivery places would probably be very welcome.

this is a great idea. I think I am going to do this for my Aunt who has ovarian cancer.
