Getting Marks off Painted Walls??
Okay we just had all of our walls painted in our house with flat paint - which now we hear is really tough to get marks off of. Can anyone tell me how they get marks off the walls/? I have fingerprints and scuff marks now and am really bummed.
Can i repaint just that small part if need be or will that part be darker then the rest of the wall. IT SUCKS!!

Magic eraser! But if you have anything but flat paint it could remove some sheen. Did you try clorox wipes first? I've also used goo gone (goof off) on walls but it sticks! It will go away but at first phew!

Someone told me magic eraser will remove flat paint too...did that happen to you guys? If not then i will run out and get it.

If you do the eraser lightly it works well, but it can take off paint.

We have used Magic Eraser and it took off the mark.. but also took off some of the paint... so now it looks like a lighter spot on the wall.. now we have to do a touch up with the paint... DH told me never to use those things on the wall again.. and I won't.

I used Fantastic "Orange" and it left a huge smudge on the wall.
I am going to try Magic Eraser but otherwise, I may just have to touch up :(
