Get Your Refund from Credit Card Companies...
Has anyone received a letter from the US District Court to get their refund?
This applies to those who have traveled abroad from 1996 to 2006 and used their credit card for foreign transactions.
You're eligible to get a minimum of $25.
I'm sending in to get my refund 'cus it's legit, just in case you decide to chuck it. :)
The site is ccfsettlement.com and this case is all over the news.

I dunno.... my first suspicion is that it's a scam. they don't even state what credit cards you own, or any vital stats....
not worth the $25 to risk it, IMO

it's totally legit and alot of major news organization are reporting this, including CNN, CBS, Sun Sentinel, USA Today, etc.
Trust me, you're just throwing away at least $25 if you don't claim it.
Even snopes.com, debunker of all web hoax says it's true.
More links, besides USA Today, that list this news and the same ccfsettlement.com link where you file your claim:

There are few ways to file, the easiest is just to claim the $25, I just did it online and my address and name is already in the system... I actually lived outside the US for two years so am expecting alot more than $25. :D

I need to figure out how much I spent. I lived in London for 6 months and traveled throughout Europe. I spent a lot of money, so I need to come up with a figure.

I got it too. I was abroad a lot during that time period and I charged a lot. It won't be decided until 2008 and I wonder how much I will get back...
DH filled it out online, he did all the maths for it.

I studied abroad and definitely spent more than $2500, but I don't have that credit card anymore so I don't have the number. What do I do?

I got it too, but the paranoid part of me was afraid that maybe these credit card companies would hold it against you in the future. I figured it wasnt worth the $25

what can they hold against you?? In the case, they were found that they over charged us as consumers to use their card(s).... they were wrong...
