Gal Gadot cast in 'Superman vs. Batman' as new 'Wonderwoman'
It's official: DC Comics has just picked one lucky lady—or should we say Gal—for the role of Wonder Woman in the upcoming flick Superman vs. Batman. Israeli bombshell Gal Gadot will play the lasso-wielding, bracelet-clad superheroine. Gadot, 28, was named Miss Israel in 2004 and competed in Miss Universe before becoming a professional model and actress. You might remember her best as Gisele from the last three Fast & Furious movies. Newsy reports:

Yes she is, Like a Lucy Lawless type! I"m still excited to finally see Wonder Woman on the big screen.
It's about time DC Comics started to compete with Marvel. I guess the next movies are Wonder Woman & Justice League!

she's 5'9" so shes not petite. but me being 5'9" too i would never want that to be considered amazonian either.

Yeah, SIL is 6', DH is 6'8", I'm not impressed.   But I don't just mean height- she looks like I could snap her like a twig.
I can't wait to see the costume though- I loved Wonder Woman when I was a kid- she had jewelry with magic powers for effs sake!

This is NOT Wonder Woman! WW is supposed to be a tall, curvy and STRONG woman. This chick needs to hit the gym and drink some serious protein shakes PRONTO.
As much as it pains me, this movie is going downhill REALLY fast.

As much as it pains me, this movie is going downhill REALLY fast.
i saw her in the fast movies. she is thin, but not once did i think she was not strong. she's toned and muscular and can beat any guy up. in the right outfit, she'll be amazing.
but then again, i'm a marvel girl so dc comics don't impress me much
