Funny Experience I Had To Share
Tonight I was having dinner with my husband and kids at Intermezzo in Ft. Salonga. It was a particularly harried day; my husband had just gotten off a plane from a business trip, I got stuck in the office longer then I wanted, my little one forgot her backpack etc.. Well as soon as we sit down to order my little one spills water, we clean it up and she proceeds to spill her sister's water. At this point I must have looked like I had it, a woman about 50 years old who was sitting across from us, runs over with two cloth napkins and tells me "its just water enjoy your beautiful family, you'll miss these days in the future." Well she completely changed my mood with just those few words. A few minutes later she sent me over a glass of pinot noir and told me to enjoy it. I went over to thank her and promised her I would extend her kindness to someone else.
Just had to share. Its amazing what a few words and a small act of kindness can do to turn around your day.
