Fun, Family Holiday Stuff in the city....
Does anyone know of anything fun around the city for next Monday???
we plant to start a tradition with Emmers & we're going in with her Godmommy... These are the things already on the agenda...
1. Macy's Santa
2. Tree in Rockefeller Center
3. FAO Schwartz
anything else you can think of????

She is a little young, but my friends walked up to the Christmas Spectacular and got tix for $37/pp and LOVED it.
Everything is really, really decorated, you can do the windows at Macys, Lord and Taylors or Bloomies.
We were in Times Square last night and there seemed to be a lot of characters around (Mickey, etc) dressed up for Christmas

We are going to the city next Monday as well. Our agenda is the same except for FAO which we might try, but we are also going to Battery Park. They have tons of cute little shops and an Ice Rink.

We are going to the city next Monday as well. Our agenda is the same except for FAO which we might try, but we are also going to Battery Park. They have tons of cute little shops and an Ice Rink.
Not to be a Debbie Downer, but IMO, trying to go from Battery Park to Midtown or vice versa this time of year is tough, the city is PACKED, even in a cab, its tough. Depending on where you are coming from, maybe you can do BP very early in the day and then head to midtown or vice versa

Do you mean Bryant Park by chance? There is an ice rink in Battery Park City but, I don't think there are a lot of cute shops nearby (I work down here and BPC is mainly residential).

I think it is Bryant Park. NOt sure where I got Battery Park from
