Fun Fall Activities
Hey Everyone!!
So i'm just looking for fun ideas to do with the SK's this fall. We recently moved to LI from NJ...well, to clarify, I am originally from LI but DH and SK's are from NJ. I'd really love to show them some fun LI spots. I was thinking we can do apple picking and maybe hamptons this weekend?
What's everyone doing? Any good ideas? Any good traditions??

apple picking is good, pretty soon pumpkin picking will be in season (if not already). A nice drive out east to is nice, maybe stop for lunch. Also, not sure if you or SKs would like this but all the Haunted Houses will be going up very soon as well.

Great idea, we're always looking for stuff to do!! 
I was just flipping through Newsday and found a few family-fun things going on in October.
Friday, October 2: Merrick Fall Festival & Craft Fair begins (Merrick RR station & Merrick Ave.)
Sunday, October 4 through Sunday, November 1: Scarecrows in the Garden (Old Westbury Gardens)
Saturday, October 10: Flick & Treat Festival-Outdoor movie "Monsters vs. Aliens and trick or treating. Newsday lawn, free tickets at newsday.com/boo.
Thursday, October 15: Bellmore Family Street Festival opens
Saturday, October 17: Oyster Festival opens, Oyster Bay
Sunday, October 18: Apple Festival, Kissam House Museum, Huntington
