Fruit Flies

they are EVERYWHERE!!! How do I kill them in my house before they reproduce like rabbits and I have a whole bunch more to kill?

I think it's common now that the weather is getting colder. Those nasty little $uckers are coming in from the outside. Chat Icon

Found this little recipe:

Mix 2 cups water, 2 tablespoons sugar, 2 tablespoons white vinegar, and a couple drops of liquid dishsoap. Leave this mixture sitting out wherever the infestation is for as long as you need to.

they also like to hang around fruit that's left out for days. we sometimes find a few around our bananas.

When I used to work in a restaurant, we would leave a little red wine in a cup overnight. They would go in there and drown. The recipe above works the same way. They, obviously, are attracted to swwet smells.
