they let you get 25 for FREE????
My store wouldn't do it. I had my mother come with me and got 20 folders, 6 sharpeners, and 6 eraser packs.
Still a great deal!!

Yes and I brought my mom with me who works at a school but is not a teacher and she got the free stuff too.
We went to the one by her house the one by my house wouldn't let me do it 2 weeks ago with the glue!
ETA...The people who worked there insisted that I get 25 since I was a teacher!

i went today in brooklyn, and anyone could get the free stuff and i even asked about the fact that i was a teacher and she only let me have 10 folders and 3 packs of erasers i didn't want sharpeners and she said teachers appreciation day was yesterday how rude
i will be going to staples every day this week i need those erasers

My DH (who is also a teacher) and I hit up two Staples (Maspeth & Howard Beach) and we walked out with 100 folders, 100 sharpeners, 100 packs of erasers...I'm not sure if we need it but it was free!!!!!!!!!!! ... the people at those two staples were very open and inviting to all the teachers making sure we all got our 25...one checked ID, the other didn't

i think i may be going to howard beach tomorrow thats not too far
eta to did you have to go pick out your own and bring it to the register or did they have the stuff behind the register
one staples it was behind the reg
the other - today - the lady told me i had to pick my stuff out myself and the stuff was scattered throughout the store

You had to pick out all of the stuff yourself but its all in one location....at the back left of the store in the aisle right in front of the back wall (The erasers and pencils are together and the shapeners are in the same area a bit further down)... have fun!! I keep feeling like I'm robbing Staples.

Do they keep track of whether or not you got the free items for a given week since they scan your card?
