Formula for 9 month old

Connor was 9 months old last week. How many oz. of formula per day does he "need"? I was just wondering because he's been spacing out his feedings so I was thinking that maybe he could get one less bottle? Chat Icon He drinks 28 oz per day now. 2-8 oz bottles and 2-6 oz bottles. Thanks!

Re: Formula for 9 month old

DS is almost 8 month and has recently phased out another one of his bottles. He now gets 3 6oz bottles a day- one after every meal. Sometimes we'll give him a little more in his nighttime bottle.

Re: Formula for 9 month old

Nikolas is 8 months old... but he's drastically cut back on his formula intake as of last month , once we went to food 3x a day..

He does 4 bottles a day: 2 bottles are anywhere from 6-8 ouncers(the first and last of the day) and 2 bottles are anywhere from 3-5 ouncers. So on average he'll get anywhere from 18-26 ounces day total....

When he's really eaten well that day, it's definitely on the lower end of that range..

HE's way more into food than his bottles now!

Re: Formula for 9 month old

DS is 9 months old and gets 4 bottles a day and takes 5-8 ounces per feeding. He also gets 2-3 serviings of food per day. MY ped wants me to cut him back to 3 meals a day but, he really, really wants that 4th bottle. For right now I am going to stick to 4 bottles and hopefully wean him down to 3 bottles by my 10 month appt.
