For working mommies......open play places on the weekend...
How about we try and put together a post for us who work. I know a post exists for open play but most places are for during the week. There's gotta be somethign to do on the weekend for my DD.
We used to do MT but I want to find somethign different for her.
Any suggestions??? It could be classes to in addition to open play

I have researched this and all the open play places are closed on weekends for private parties. The only thing I have found to do is classes at the local library for kids, the playground (but it's too cold now), and the LI Children's Museum occasionally.

I'm not sure where you are located but we go to The Original Mommy and Me in Lake Grove on Saturdays.

That's not true at all.
Kangaroo Kids is open for open play, as is Mommy and Me in Holtsville. And I think Fun4all in Port Jeff (but I'm not 100% sure)

Krazy Kids is in Medford and has open play every single day from 10am to 9pm. It's great there, super clean and new. (there is also a $2 off coupon in the Parent Guide News this month).
Some other places off the top of my head
Fun 4 All
Chuck E Cheese (my 21 month old LOVES it there..Patchogue is the nicest one IMO)
Orly's Treehouse
Martime Museum in Port Jeff (small but cute), Sat and Sundays
I think Wood Kingdom does IF they don't have any parties scheduled
