For those who have FHA loans...

What bank did you go through?

Did you find that the rates were pretty stable from one bank to another or did you see that some are offering lower rates than others even on FHA loans?

i am going through wells fargo and the rate seems the same everywhere (think it was 5%) our pre-approval. The only thing I am not happy with is i'm not sure if you can pay off the MMI faster then 15 years (make extra payment per year to pay off the mortgage faster, therefore reduce the need for that insurance) and I am trying to find that out.

With the FHA loan you have to pay 1% at closing (for us its roughly 3,500-,4,000) which is usually bundled into your mortgage.
