Luca will be 6 months in another week and makes lots of different noises and sounds. He squeals, gurggles, coos, makes "g" sounds and is starting to make "d" sounds. He also tends to growl a lot. Like a "ggrrrrr" kind of sound, almost like he's trying to push out a poop, but he's not.
I've never thought anything of it, but DH mentioned last night that he's concerned that DS does it so much. Do/did your kids growl too?

Steven grwols. He is 5 months. he also gargles with the spit in the back of his throat. This is all normal. They are learning how to put the sounds and vowels and consonants together.

OH, another thing...is he frustrated when he does this? Steven growls when he's frustrated (along with throwing his fists in the air...so dramatic )

Most of the time he's just hanging out and does it. Sometimes he'll do it when he's angry, but the angry noise is usually more of a squeal. I call Luca "Drama" all the time.

Yeah ryan does this alot. He wont stop saying the letter T lately. It's hard not to worry but I'm sure it's all normal!! They are learning how to make different sounds.

Yes Lance growls & squeals all the time. He also does the rasberries with his tongue all day long.

same here but also with some high pitch screams - typical girl.

my boys growl too, Christopher is now doing a pretend coaugh...not sure if it is because Im getting over bronchitis and he hears me cough.
