For a Kids party at a playplace

how many pies do you need for the adults?
Last yr I ordered 8 pies thinking 64 slices would be perfect for about 30 adults. I ended up getting stuck with about 4 pies. Not happening again. How many pies is sufficient for the adults at a kids party? also how many soda pitchers? Thanks!

I also have the option of doing bagels. IS this a good idea on a sunday at 2? (not for the kids for the adults)

I always think 2 slices per adult. BUT, that was the rule before kids. I know I don't eat as much when I'm watching DS. Maybe think 2 per adult and subtract a pie from that.

Many might agree with the bagels, but I seriously hate bagels.

Am I helping you Paulette? If you have leftover pizza, I will take it off your hands.

I would have thought 2 slices per adult (some people eat only 1, but some men I know can eat 3 easily, esp. if there are some going uneaten). Then factor in maybe 1 piece for each child old enough to eat pizza.

I wouldn't do bagels for an afternoon party, it's not an afternoon meal, IMO (though I do love bagels!).

No idea about soda, sorry.

I had 20 adults and 3 large pies - they were all eaten except for one slice. We had 2 pies for the kids and I think some of the adults ate some of the kids smaller slices. We went through 5 pitchers of soda.
