I just got my flu shot....did any of you ladies have ur dh get it too?

Yes my DH went with me to get his at the same time
ETA we also had our parents get theirs too

He only needs to get it if your baby is due during flu season. Once you have the shot, there's no risk to you anymore, but there is risk to the baby if hubby gets sick after your baby's born. DD is due in February so my Dr said anyone who will regularly come in contact with her should get it.

i am forcing my DH to get it because while he technically works "inside" they have no heat in the winter and no AC in the summer so its both extreme's and he always gets sick, bad, at least once during the winter. so not having it next year with a newborn!

Yes, Dh also got it this year, he also had never gotten it before. He really did not want to, but did cause I was persistent based on the Dr's advisement.
