Flip Camera-broken and lost videos

My flip camera just slipped out of my hand and immediately turned off and will not turn on again. I have so many videos on there from my DD's first moments in the hospital, first bath, and so much more. I'm so sadChat Icon Does anyone know if there is any way these can be salvaged?

Ugh, mine doesn't take batteries. It charges in the computer through the USB. :(

Oh wow, there is a battery. I had no idea. Got online with live support and they helped me to reset it and get my videos. Thank goodness!!! I was hysterical crying. Thank you!!!

MAKE BACKUP COPIES (PLURAL) IMMEDIATELY!!!!!

Get an external drive or two, and back up everything. ALL drives will fail at some point. Luckily, most drives won't fail for 10 years or more, so they last as long as we use that particular device, but all storage media will fail.

I have my pics stored on 4 drives, in two different towns, plus an on-line storage location.
