First World Problem - SOLVED.

First let me say that I fully realize how ridiculous this is.

Second I rarely complain about my life and things happening in it because I realize how fortunate I am.

On to my gripe: I bought DD her Christmas dress weeks ago b/c I know shit sells out fast. I bought her the wrong size. The correct size is now SOLD OUT. Actually, every size is sold out. I am devastated. Yup, devastated.

That is all.

Re: First World Problem alert.

Haha I do this all the time except I can usually find ONE in the correct size, but not 2. This year I got their dresses like early Sept so I tried them on then to get an idea of if they would fit in dec. Kinda stinks that you have to buy stuff so early to ensure you get it.

Let the store know what size you want. Maybe they can call you when/if someone returns it.

Re: First World Problem alert.

Hahaha, thanks for humoring me guys!

It was from Gymboree - nothing on eBay. I called the outlet - nothing, Roosevelt - nothing, Smithhaven - nothing. At that point I started bitcching to the Smithhaven girl about how dumb I am and that I ordered the wrong size blah blah blah, so she said "call cust svc, they can see what stores have it in stock all over the country". I air-kissed her feet, called cust svc, a store in MD had it, called them. BOOM. Ordered.

Stupid me took the tags off the wrong size dress so I can't even return it! SO - I'm putting in on the buy/sell/swap thread.

I would be upset too. When I have an outfit in my head, it become an obsession and I would be upset if what I envisioned wasnt going to happen.

Glad you found it!!

External Image

It is too cute in person - there's tulle underneath the brocade so it's a little bit poofy.

12-18months - $25

Re: First World Problem - SOLVED.

I loved that dress, and it was the one that I originally wanted for my DD for Chanukah, but my sister was buying, and she didn't like the gemstones, so we ended up with something else. I'm so tempted to buy it from you, but I really have no other use for it. If we had another dressy occasion coming up, I would.

Are you sure you can't return it? I have returned things several times at Gymboree after I had taken off the tags, and discovered it didn't fit right.

Seriously? I removed the tags and threw them out. I ordered online so I still have my "receipt" so to speak....

eta: That would be AMAZING bc I actually paid $42 for the dress!!! I'm gonna call them, thanks.
