First month off BCP.. How was your PMS?

Just wondering what other people's experience have been-- symptoms, etc.

like how soon did cramps start, were your boobs sore, etc.?

I am not expecting my period for another 3 or 4 days... when did symptoms start?

nonexistent. my period was so much lighter than it ever had been before. no soreness/pain at all

Mine were a good week before and I felt nauseous, dizzy, crampy, and very moody. It was kind of awful and I swore right after I had a baby I would go back on the pill. It's evened itself out though now over the past 5 months. I was on the pill for 10 years so I was very used to being regular and not having any real symptoms of AF.

and yes that first month my boobs were sore.

thanks--- I stopped the pill last Oct, then went back on... I didn't have the same feelings last time.. but, I guess every one and every time is different.

I just hope I get it soon!

I am not moody (well, more than normal), but I feel crampy and a little dizzy and naus.

My first few AFs off the pill were bad. I guess I was spoiled being on the pill - I barely had AF on the pill and never PMS. Once I went off the pill, I discovered what women mean when they talk about PMS.

ugh, terrible!!!

Now I know why I went on the pill in the first place...

My PMS starts exactly TWO WEEKS before AF comes to town. That means I'll be PMSING HALF the month!!!!

AF has been heavier for me and lasts longer than before being on BCP. My cramps have also gotten worse but only for the first two days. No sore boobs or bloating....I've never had those symptoms ever before though

I was pretty moody a few days leading up to it and then when I got it, I had cramps really bad. I had been on BCP for 7 years, so I forgot what they felt like!!

Oh, it was soooo bad! Moody is not even the word - poor DH! I went off BCP in April and it took several months for things to level off. Physically, I haven't noticed much of a difference. It was all emotional.

I had absolutely no PMS, no mood swings, no crying. But AF was beyond heavy. I still haven't regulated, but this past month, i was going through a tampon every 2-3 hours.... I was doubled over in pain.
