First Dr. Appt Next Week
I know this has been posted before but I'm just curious if anyone can tell me what to expect next week at my first Dr. appt. I'm also scheduled for my first sonogram. We're really excited!

Well, they will take between 6 - 9 vials of blood, depending on what your Dr does. mine took 7. The sono is not horrible. They will probably do an internal this early, so be prepared for that. I also got a pelvic exam during my first visit as well.
Depending how far along you are, you might see just the sac and possibly a little bud. If you are 6-7 weeks you MAY be able to see a heartbeat.

i had my 1st appt today and i had the bloodwork done and she did an exam, but since its early couldnt tell me anything based on just the exam, I have a sono on tues though as long as my bloodwork comes back OK
