my dd is 3 and has her first visit with the dentist tomorrow. what can i expect? tia

Are you going to a regular dentist or a pediatric dentist?? I take my son to a pediatric dentist and they are AMAZING with him... he loves going to the dentist

pediatric dentist. im hoping it goes well. i was just wondering do they clean their teeth on the visit?? how long does the very first visit last?? thank you.

From my experience.. the Dentist just played it by ear and she said that they don't always clean the teeth, they just want to check and make sure everything is good and get the kids aquainted with going to the dentist, they don't want to make it a bad experience right from the beginning.... my son was so good and let her look in his mouth so well that they did clean his teeth and then they gave him a bunch of prizes... that's really why he likes going they let him squirt the mouth rinser thing at the wall too.. so they made it fun... good luck!
