First day of IVF cycle!
Hey ladies!!! Today is the day I start my IVF cycle!!! I checked my voicemail and they told me to go on two menopur and a dexamethasone (sp?) pill until Thursday and then go back for blood and sono.... question though- they did not say how much saline (i think its saline) to mix it with- is it usually 1cc?
Ahhh im soooo nervous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck!!! I don't remember how much saline, I was thinking it was the entire vile? I'm not sure though, so wait til someone else that knows posts!

I got a call back it was 1cc... it really wasnt too terrible... the needle was really small.. it was just nerves more than anything... my hubby was a hUGE help though making sure I did everything right... and taking over when i couldnt mix the damn thing right 
One down....

Good luck! I am also relatively new to IVF. I started my stimulation protocol on Saturday Nov 14th, so I'm on day 4 today. The first night, it took us 30 minutes to mix the menopur and administer the follistim and lupron. We were so cautious and slow. We watched the instructional videos on freedommedteach.com and they were very helpful. Now my hubby and I mix and administer all 3 meds within 15 minutes.

I started today as well, but am doing Micor-IVF (minimal injectibles, Clomid, then 2 injections of Bravelle and an HCG). But we are cycle buddies!
