First birthday presents? Need recommendations please
Aside from clothing which Victoria will need for the fall and winter - I need to start a list of gifts for those asking what they can get her.
Any recommendations of things your one year old just loves to play with?

I know the jumping zebra is a big hit....I am having the same trouble though.I dont know what to tell people, but luckily, my sons birthday is this month, so I am telling most people outdoor stuff.
I dont know if your dc already has, but my son loves...
fp grand piano
fp sing along stage thing (forgot the name)
anything that he can walk with and push around
his big comfy chair
balls---any type, any size...he loves to throw them, bounce them, and catch them
he also loves to look at books

Been a while since my monkeys were 1! But I know they LOOOOVED (and continue to love) the jumbo blocks that they have - they are giant pleather covered foam doodads that they play with to this day. They also like their chairs and it was around that time that Robbie got Croc (his stuffed crocodile that he STILL sleeps with). Noah was about 1 when he fell in love with "Nubby" (noahbunny in baby speak) - a scrawny stuffed rabbit that he carried around to this day. My best friends daughter was in love with her water/sand play table last summer when she was one.
When I buy gifts for the 1 year club I usually buy books and/or Melissa & Doug puzzles or wooden toys.

DD is almost 4, but I was trying to think of what I loved that we got for her 1st Birthday..
-clothes in larger sizes for the next season or two.
-gift certificates- clothing, toys, Chuckie-Cheese, Gymboree Play and Music, My Gym, Little Gym, Music Together
-outdoor toys- My parents bought Ava her 1st swingset for her 1st B-Day
-Dvd's- Baby Einstein, Baby Genius and some of the popular Disney ones
-books, always a great gift

My DD loves this
Water table..can be used indoors or out. This one is cute..Pirate theme, but I think girls would like it too. It had good reviews in a mag. I just got.
Some other ideas
Plastic picnic table, that would be useful well into fall.
Bath toys..can never have too many of those! My son LOVED this one, each animal plays music using the water

oooh, these are some great suggestions! I usually gave clothes in the past (parents suggestions) so I'm kinda new at the toy thing.

I was looking for ideas too....(I didn't see this post).
DD & I were in the store the other day & came across this plush ride on & she loved it.
We also were all about the buggy at my brother's house last week
We're going to get her a wooden wagon & a picnic table.
I love that sand/water table (who makes it?)

She loves puzzles - we have a bunch of Melissa & Doug puzzles and stuff like that
